This is the THIRD TIME in about 2 months that my neighbors have had a knock-down, drag-out fight, and threw shit out the window. First time it was just clothing and knick knacks. Cops were called. Second time it was a 3-foot long glass bong, a ton of framed photos and a few other glass things. No cops, but the bong was reclaimed before I got a good photo of it, because that thing was SICK. Tonight I have seen an approximately 4 foot long floor lamp, an entire computer CPU, a monitor, and a ton of other glass things go out the 3rd floor window onto the sidewalk and cars below. I tried to take a picture but its really blurry. GOODNESS GRACIOUS.
I’m knowing that you love your place, but maybe moving would be a good thing? Are they in your building?
I think if you present your landlord with the above reasons, it would be hard to deny you your deposit.
That kind of drama is not what you want. It’s going to get serious, like people are going to get hurt soon, serious. And you don’t want to be around to hear/see that.
Nah, its alright, we’re separated in the building, and they’re quiet except for these three occasions. We called the non-emergency number and reported it, and I plan to tell the landlord this week as well. I feel safe though, they’re just DRAMA. If anyone gets hurt, its someone walking under their window.
I seriously don’t understand the throwing of the shit out the window. This is the third time, guys. I know its blurry (I didn’t want to use the flash) but you can kind of make out the lamp stand, and the three things in the upper part are the computer parts. Street’s still full of glass, and its too dark to see if anything hit the car on the street. If I was the owner of that car I would be PISSED OFF that someone was throwing giant fucking objects out a 3rd story window at my car.

I still walk around most days feeling like an utter misfit who will never completely belong anywhere except with my family and a small selection of friends. I have always felt this way.

This may be uncharacteristically personal of me, but the past two nights I’ve had bad dreams about people in my past. These weren’t nice people, and they didn’t like me very much, and in my dreams I am once again on the outside, back in that emotional pit I’ve grown mostly out of. Its not a good feeling. Fortunately, as I get older, I find my skills at finding the people I am best matched with are much more refined. With this has come much happiness, save for a few bad dreams now and then.
